Senior '24 Newtown High School

​

Adrian is a senior at Newtown High School, where he captains the Science Bowl team. His interests and hobbies besides Science Bowl include Quiz Bowl, chess, running, playing piano, and coding.

 

He and his team have placed 3rd in the Connecticut Middle School Science Bowl and 2nd in the High School Science Bowl. He is also a USNCO National Finalist.

 

He has been involved in running other Science Bowl competitions such as MOOSE and CAST. He has been organizing CSBL competitions for the past 3 years.

Senior '23 Hopkins School

​

Arin Bhandari is a senior at Hopkins School, where he is a co-founder of the Science Bowl and Quiz Bowl teams. He also captains the varsity team and is the club head of the Math Team and Model UN programs.

​

In 6th grade, he won the CT Spelling Bee and represented the state at Nationals. Furthermore, he has led his Quiz Bowl team to Nationals for the past two years and is a national USNCO qualifier.

In Science Bowl, he and his team have placed 3rd in the Middle School Science Bowl and 3rd in High School Science Bowl. He has also organized CSBL competitions for the past 3 years.
